Thermostatic radiator valve
The
heating system has various controls. Which ones do yours have? These
switch individual radiators on and off depending on the temperature in
the vicinity. |
Thermostat
This device measures the temperature of the room and sends this
information to the central controller. There may be other thermostats
outside the building and connected to the heating system. |

Controller
The controller receives information from a number of devices, such as
thermostats and a clock, and decides whether the boiler should be
switched on or off to keep the school comfortable.
